K-ON! Ep12

The End is Now. I know some fans of K-ON must say this really suck but all things have to have an ending. It’s another School Festival and this time Yui falls ill at such a crucial time as they have to prepare in a short time. Yui starts day dreaming and Ui gets very worried about her sister’s condition. Ritsu and Mio comes to to Ui class to ask about Yui and this is when it all flashes back to the time where dinosaurs rule the face of the earth, wait I’m just kidding.

Reformated to Linux

My university semester is over and I’m back to being a Hikki for the moment. One thing about every semester I then I find a lot of unwanted shit programs which come out of nowhere in my trusty desktop. The most irritating part is getting all sorts of errors and headache messages from Window. I’m running Windows Vista Ultimate and sorry to say I really am getting tired of repairing the bugs I faced almost each and everyday. Worst part if running this OS is the darn platform. F**king Stupid security which gets no where.

So like Obama says it’s time for a change and I went around looking for OS like The PC Leopard OSX and Ubuntu (Linux). The problem I faced with Leopard is my process er, damn I got a AMD and there’s only a few which are able to run so I just left it aside for my Intel Laptop. I kinda fired uBuntu a bit as during my old times in college, I had a lot of trouble using it. That was back then and today it’s a whole new level of pwnage.

Finally I got uBuntu running. I spent the bloody night just cleaning, formating and playing around with this OS. I must say it’s fun and the best part is, I can delete some freaking annoying files which I cannot get rid when I was running Windows in my external HD. Another advantage to this OS is that you can just boot-run it on your CD /DVD and don’t worry the memory is like 100x lower than a Vista. Also the themes for uBuntu is super cool. Nostalgic feelings, liked the time I hacked browse into my old college mainframe. You know what finally works? I manage to watch my 1080p HD Final Fantasy VII Advent Children without lags. Before that my OS spiked so bad I felt like kicking it, grr GOOD BYE problems.

K-ON! Ep09, Ep10 & Ep11

God I swear I have been suffering for the last 2 weeks. I finally manage to get some time off to actually get to watch K-ON! Basically I’m going to do very fast and simple because I didn’t made any review of the old 2 episodes and I just got my hands on 11.

K-ON! Ep08 – Freshmen

GAAAAAAHHH, another week another great episode of K-ON! to watch. I just can’t get my eyes of Mio, she is just to moe! And Yui-chan never fails to impress me all the time. More of Ui too and a new year means new members to the club.

K-ON! Insert Song Single – Fuwa Fuwa Time

Oh yeah! Finally managed to get hold of the first Insert Song Single – Fuwa Fuwa Time (Jikan). This song was played for the live performance during the school festival in episode 06 of K-ON! At first I found it a bit irritating because Yui was singing at the back-up part for Mio with her spoiled voice. Thank god the single wasn’t the same or else it will just spoil my mood. The unique thing about this single was that they where able to take out each instrument for the song so you’ll have bonus intrumental tracks where you can practise your guitar, bass, keyboard or drums for the song. Kinda cool though as now I can try figure out how to play the song on my electric guitar.

I’m so ‘Lazy’

God it’s been like what, 5 months since I last post up something? Yeah you may be wondering why I’ve been so cut off from blogging is because of work and university life.

Well it all started with the launch of World of Warcraft’s WOTLK, the new expension got me so excited that me and my buds began to test it out and sooner was hooked to it. I think I stayed up late hours just doing instances and that screwed my sleeping habit again. Because it was the holidays I didn’t wannabe bothers with work so I just left social life aside for awhile.

Soon later Uni life resumes and I had to stop WoW-ing or else things were going nowhere for me. I didn’t expect this semester was going to be a total disaster for me. Working for the anime community and doing projects (for example: packaging) wasn’t something I expected to be fun at all. Some of you know fansubs have been having a bit of an issues around months back and I was having headaches just getting news in and out. as for the projects I’m getting, I was given a hell lot of crap stuff to work on, I swear designing stuff maybe in my resume but this project was something I would want to turn down in the near future (only if the pay doesn’t meet my standard). My university is throwing journals, assignments and reports almost every week and I’m not making enough money to even pay for my work.

I had to stop smoking and clubbing for a month just to afford the materials for my university assignments which cost heaps. My parents even rejected the idea of me getting a new MacBook, which I seriously needed because my 8 year old Acer just could support the technology life of today. I’m working with Adobe Package 3 now and my 8 year ol’  friend is starting to kick the can. The only new gears which was under my budget for this time was a new Lens kit for my Canon, Overdrive/Distortion for baby ‘Yui’ (my guitar), and the latest Nike Mecurial Veloci V.

Anyways, most people could still get to me through my facebook (if you have added me or msg me) which I tend to login frequently. There, you’ll actually manage to see some of my work (especially photo folio) which I try to upload. I do spend less time talking to other fansubs and forums now and also my figma collection has been on hault. I hope to resume my collection soon, but the good news is that I’m doing a photography folio on figma for my finals this semester. It’s the only assignment I look forward too than the others which I have to say is kinda KUSO!

Additional news, I gotta watch K-ON! I seriously am in-love with this anime especially Mio Akiyama who happens to be the main attraction now. I’m so going to get a Fender Jazz Bass guitar and name it ‘Mio’ (^^,). I even did a video (sucky one too) doin’ K-ON! ED theme Don’t Say ‘Lazy’, it’s on facebook so only friends could see it, gah!

So I’ll try my best to do a comeback once again and wish me luck for this semester! I seriously can’t afford to dropout. Expect few new stuff soon. Ja!

Upcoming Anime Series Winter 08/09

The list of anime for this upcoming 2008/09 is out already. As some animes are at a close to an end, be prepared to get you’re hands full with new stuff. Some are new seasons of previous series while others arre newcomers to the screens. There are some titles which I find quite interesting in this list.

Heroes Season 3 END

I’ve just finished the full season of Heroes season 3 (13 episodes) and I must admit that this season was much better than season 2. This season Tim Kring and crew, managed to bring some old faces and new ones to the season and also coming up with plots which had lots of twist and turns. They showed that everyone and anyone can change sides, no matter Hero or Villain, changes happen. For those who have never watch this series I can say that season 3 would be a best time for you to get into it as they will show you the past, present and future. A series to be looking out for in your local DVD stores soon.

figma Mirai

Mirai Suenaga, the mascot for Danny Choo was given a sample figma preview. Ionized the designer behind this sample 3D Max look had a rouigh 5 months getting it done but the finish was simply excellent. Many DC.com members/fans are so egared to see if figma.jp would approve of it and if so,many would be delighted about the release. I would like to get my hands on this babe if she was to be produced.
